About Me
Lottena Wolters is the Founder and CEO of The F.L. Wolters Group, where she leads strategic growth, clinical supervision, and organizational development. Guided by a “collaboration over competition” philosophy, she partners with clinicians and wellness professionals to deliver workshops rooted in the eight dimensions of wellness through The FLWG Way, the practice’s new integrative care model.

A leader in entrepreneurship and community innovation, she is part of the 24th national cohort of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses and has represented Ward 7 in programs such as the BlackBone Project, Dream Accelerator, and the “Battle of the Wards” pitch competition.

A psychotherapist for 13 years, Ms. Wolters will transition from direct clinical work in 2026 to focus on advancing The FLWG Way. Before founding the practice in 2016, she managed housing programs at Interfaith Works and supported employment for people with serious mental illness at St. Luke’s House.

Partially raised in Liberia and having lived in Northern Virginia, Yemen, Pakistan, and Switzerland, she brings a global perspective to her work. She holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of the District of Columbia and an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Argosy University. In her free time, she enjoys West African drumming, Latin social dancing, and gardening.
