Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain a weekly caseload of at least 12 (part-time) or 25 (full-time) clients.

Conduct intake evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses of clients’ history, strengths, and therapy needs.
-
Develop treatment plans and provide outpatient services to include: individual counseling, couples counseling, and/or group counseling.
-
Complete clinical documentation, including progress notes, service/treatment plans, and other forms/records as required.
-
Maintain current license in good standing.
-
Must provide your own liability insurance.

Qualifications

Must have an LGPC, LPC or an LICSW in the District of Columbia by the start date of employment (required).

Experience with psychotherapy in an outpatient setting (preferred)

Salary note: The salary range for full-time clinicians working with 25-35 clients weekly is $65,000-$110,000, depending on licensure and size of caseload. The range is lower for part-time clinicians.

Job Title: Office Assistant
Would you love to use your organizational skills to help the back office of a mission-driven company run more efficiently? The F.L. Wolters Group is hiring an administrative professional to support our collaborative team. Join a small, expanding private practice and grow along with us!
We currently have five clinicians and are planning to hire additional clinicians over the next year. We have also recently moved to a new office and we are in the process of upgrading our technology, including our online presence and our billing procedures. In order to help ensure a smooth transition through this period of growth and change, it is incumbent for us to hire a contractor dedicated to the mission to assist with various office responsibilities for the business.

Job Description
The Office Assistant will support the business with both client care coordination and back office tasks. She/he/they will report to and work closely with the Office Supervisor, to assist primarily with the client intake process, billing and insurance claims follow up, as well as external communications and other administrative tasks as needed.
The employee will be hired as an independent contractor at a rate of $18-$20.00 per hour for 20 hours a week. This position is a hybrid one, with most work to be performed remotely. Initial training and periodic staff meetings will require in-person attendance.

Duties and Responsibilities

Respond to new inquiries, process intake forms, schedule intake appointments, and send reminder emails to clients;

Assist with billing, including posting insurance payments, producing insurance aging reports and contacting insurance companies to inquire about submitted claims;
-
Support the communications needs of the practice if requested, such as assisting with content creation for the website, newsletters or social media accounts; and,
-
Provide other administrative and patient care coordination tasks as required.

Qualifications
-
4 years of experience providing administrative support in an office environment required, including 1-2 years within a healthcare setting (psychotherapy strongly preferred)
-
Computer skills proficiency, including MS Word and Excel, required (experience with Google Suite preferred)

Strong written and verbal communication skills required (English-language)

Professional experience with social media a major plus

Job Title: Intern
We are looking for interns who are currently attending M.A., M.S., or M.Ed. programs focused on mental health counseling and have been approved to do their internship or practicum. Interns will work 15-25 hours per week for a 9-12 month period.
Clinical Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain a weekly caseload of 5-10 clients.

Conduct intake evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses of clients’ history, strengths, and therapy needs.

Develop treatment plans and provide outpatient services to include: individual counseling, couples counseling, and/or group counseling.

Complete clinical documentation, including progress notes, service/treatment plans, and other forms/records as required.

Create and lead therapy groups and workshops.
-
Attend individual and group supervision involving case conceptualizations.

Patient Care Coordination and Administrative Duties and Responsibilities:
